Research and services

We have been engaging in research and service projects in the fields of terminology and applied linguistics for several years now. We also carry out assessments of terminology which is currently in use. We would be happy to assist you in tasks such as:

• Standardisation of terminology
• Addressing specific terminological issues
• Knowledge transfer in the field of terminology instruction
• Research and evaluation work supporting the definition of new product designations (in one or more languages)
• Defining criteria appropriate for the development of telling and transparent product designations
• Analysing product information with regard to such aspects as comprehensibility and use of uniform terminology
• Formulating appropriate recommendations for the effective use of terminology specific to a firm or institution
• Advising on the establishment of efficient terminology management infrastructure
